Yes, kitchen. Keep that snow stuff far away from my holidays! I love white kitchens. Clean and bright. And to point out that a white kitchen can be anything but boring and cliche, HGTV brought together 40 of their beautiful favorites! Here are a few of my own favorites:

Now that fall is here in full swing (um.. don't mind that it's over 90 degrees out today...), winter is just around the corner! Yahoo Homes put together a list of 8 fall repairs you need to do. On top of their 8 great suggestions, here's a few of my own:

- Get a check up on your furnace. Have a certified heating and air conditioning company check your furnace so that when that first freeze rolls in, you don't also freeze.

- Make sure your emergency power-outage bag is ready! Batteries, flashlights, bottled water, etc. Pack it all!

- Make sure your car is cold weather ready! That's obviously not directly house related, but always good to do! Make sure it's running properly and has a few blankets and water bottles in the back if you were to be stranded during a winter storm.

I have a special place in my heart for theater rooms. Not much sounds quite as good as a curling up in a comfy chair with some popcorn and a good movie! Check out some of these great theater rooms for inspiration.

I like the countertop behind the chairs. Perfect for a snack!

Well this looks like the ultimate entertaining spot!

Well, I'm sure itching to have a movie night now! Have a great week!

This listing just came on yesterday, June 19th. And what a cool listing it is! First, it's a four bedroom with four full bathrooms! It has nice solid hardwood floors throughout the downstairs that are very warm and inviting.

The kitchen is updated, bright and cheery.

The kitchen opens to a great family room that continues the hardwood floor and has a large wood burning fireplace.

Don't miss out on this house! It's a great home, a great location. Oh, and did I mention the yard? Ginormous.

Want more info? Let me know! Listed at $349,000 and having 3,513 square feet, this house won't last long!

Staying in town this Memorial Day weekend? Here's a few things going on around the city for you to enjoy! My favorites are the Edmond Jazz & Blues Festival and the 45th Division Infantry Museum's Memorial Day Ceremony. It's a really cool museum! Check out details of these and other events here! I hope everyone has a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend. And, of course, thank you to all of our military members. We're forever grateful for you!

Tonight is Game 5 of Round 2 of the NBA playoffs. It is so exciting that our very own OKC Thunder has made it this far! With the series tied at 2-2, this is turning into another nail-biter! Good luck to the team to wrap this series up with 2 more wins!

Also, how awesome is it that the Thunder's very own Kevin Durrant is the NBA's MVP?! So very deserved! Now... don't let me get started on that speech! What a class act. Congratulations, KD. Thunder up!
