Most Expensive Homes For Sale

So, Zillow is just trying to make me daydream I guess. They put together a list of the most expensive homes for sale this spring... And man are they drool-worthy! Here's a few of my favorites. I love how there are so many different varieties of homes on this list!

I could definitely relax at this Beverly Hills pool.

I bet this Manhattan home is gorgeous inside.

This South Hampton home looks fabulous.

And this Martha's Vineyard home? Wow.

Check out the full article here. There are several more fabulous homes!

Myths and Truths About Selling Your House

Zillow has put together a list of 5 myths and truths about selling your home. Here's the full article, but below you can find 2 of my favorite points they make.

Myth: The outside of my home isn't as important as the inside.

Truth: Curb appeal goes a long way. It's your home's very own first impression. It doesn't have to be a large project- just make sure your yard is maintained, pots aren't filled with dead plants, and porch area is swept and inviting.

Myth: Buyers can look past paint colors they don't like.

Truth: Yes, they can. But a lot of times, they won't. A fresh coat of paint can change the way a house feels completely. Not only does it get rid of your purple bathroom, but it also gets rid of nail holes and other marks that  make a home look worn.

Interesting food for thought. Thanks Zillow! Again, here's the full article.

Curb Appeal Before and Afters

A little paint and landscaping sure can go a long way! HGTV has compiled 15 before and afters of how curb appeal can change the look of a house. Here are 2 of my favorites:

Before: BLAND!

 After: Warm and Inviting!

 Before: Boring!

After: A Beautiful Home!

Curb appeal sure does do a lot to a home! Check out the other 13 that HGTV showcased here- they're all awesome. Happy curb appealing!
